The magic of wandering Angeus

I have always loved this poem by WB Yeats.

I love many of the song adaptations that have been made of it over the years. Being a storyteller rather than a singer I have never been sure how to share the sheer magic of this poem. This is an attempt.

Hazel trees are indeed magical. They are one of the reasons that our culture in Scotland and Ireland developed in the first place as after the last ice age hunter gatherers regularly travelled here to gather the precious nuts that did contain the essence of wisdom...
